The 8th Ruthless album is a return to the aggressive DnB and Jungle styles of the past, but with a new mission: go way, way deeper.

A study on spirituality via beat induced fugue states, centered around the heartbeat of all vitality...DnB. Each track is its own world, or galaxy, or universe...depending on how far down you're willing to journey. There's infinite timelines at play; no track knows of the others, the songs live among their own shadows, isolated from its brothers and sisters but connected somehow beyond understanding. The songs have their own gravity, their own spiral path, each one moving away from the others, faster and faster.

ghosts is about death. Which means it's about life. Its tense is that of the moments after death, fleeting or forever, for a range of items: ashes to hemispheres, molecules to suns. But that is a mere blip of time where fascinating notions of life can exist unadulterated and uninhibited by the basest of confidences. In so far as tracks with no words can say this, the idea is to capture some sort of singular anatomized moment, which then describes in detail a million years of comprehension and transcendence.

This now may be pretty obvious, but it's not an easy album. Parts of it scare me, to this minute, as I write this. I would only ask and hope that you find a vulnerable place to put your mind in while you journey through these worlds, these universes. You will come out ok, I promise. The ending is a return to serenity and whatever home planet you want to be on. But you will need to work to get there.
